oil on canvas 50*70cm
Pretty! at first glance i thought they were having a threesome
Very interesting... but no manes?
Yeah of course but Akhal Tekes are known for not having much hair and also breeders like to cut the manes in that way :>
Wow, this is a stunning piece of work!
it only amazes me more that you werent using some crazy, high tech, software thing. to me the online art is like cheating unless you legitimately did it all yourself. this is FANTABULOSTIMAZINOMENAL
I am a little confused. Digital paintings start from scratch as well.
not usually, people say, oh i downloaded this base from here, oh i borrowed this from google yadayada. this they clearly didnt download anything from google (cuz its irl)
Oh, that's true.
But I believe there might be at least a little photo referencing.
Anatomy is pretty difficult to master. ; v ;
Abububu, I don't reference anything so that's probably why I haven't been improving but many of my idol artists do and it's amazing how they can recreate a reference so perfectly. * ^ *
wow!! I love the horses a lot! they are very pretty!
Galloping on water alright.
Dude. Thats really good. Traditional art is a skill, and this has just totally passed 11/10
Such gorgeous Akhal-Teke's <3
So magnificent. You captured the best here. The anatomy is divine.
No manes for the horsies?
so beautiful! you are SO talented
Buckskiiiinnnnn!~ So beautiful!
This is gorgeous work—I love that it has a bit of the classical style to it. The lighting is breathtaking.
the blondish yellow one looks like spirit
saw that movie again today. *feels*
at first glance i thought the caramel steed was humping the middle one
Lovely work on the anatomy!
Oh dear god. When I saw the icon for the image, I was imagining something completely different... XD
Beautiful! It reminds me of the book 'Scorpio Races'.
Beautiful - lovely details - congrats on the DD
such beauty and such elegance, a horse running free and roaming the plains, makes me dream about how they ran freely long ago. This is art it gives feelings, shows what the artist wants and the name children of the storm...the translucent waves in the light just brings that title out...GOOD WORK hope it sells for a good amount it deserves it
Beautiful! They look like Akhal-Tekes
Nice work! Congrats on the DD
I like the storm and the ocean, it makes it look so powerful !
where are the mains?
It's called a roach mane, and only sometimes has to do with cleanliness and staying out of the way. I suspect these horses are Akhal-Tekes, who often have roached manes. The mane is completely shaved.
They're very thin, but still there, some horses have their manes cut, it stops it from getting in the rider's face and makes them easier to clean.
